Friends of Twin Lakes is a 100% volunteer organization.  FoTL is fueled by people power, which means that YOU are integral to our mission. Volunteering with Friends of Twin Lakes allows you to take an active role in making your community a better place. Whether you join us to restore a trail, or help staff the Visitor’s Center, – your time and energy make an invaluable difference.  Our volunteers bring many different skill sets to further our mission.  FoTL has many diverse projects that need your unique skills and experience.  FoTL welcomes all volunteers with their unique skills and experience.

Friends of Twin Lakes is committed to many different projects in our area.  To name a few:

  • Staffing and maintaining the Red Rooster Visitor’s Center
  • Maintaining the grounds in the Twin Lakes Historical Park
  • Maintaining our School House and its grounds
  • Restoring and maintaining trails
  • Working with the Forest Service in the restoration, rehabilitation, maintenance, and preservation of Twin Lakes Heritage Park and the historic Interlaken complex.
